Detroit, MI - A view of Chene Decorating Co. store (top-center of image) which is now a storefront church, and a vacant store on the corner that is now the Raven Lounge. The Picture was taken in the 1930s by Joseph C. Brogowicz from his bedroom window across Chene. The sign on the vacant store reads "TIP TOP," which was a short-lived women's clothing store. The Classic cleaners/tailor shop sign in the foreground (right) was Joseph's father's shop.
