Lucien Moore House

Here is the Lucien Moore House at 104 Edmund Place, built in 1885 for lumber baron Lucien Moore. Designed in the French Renaissance Gothic Revival style, it is probably one of the most photographed homes in Brush Park today, alongside the Ransom Gillis House.

After decades of decline, the house fell into serious ruin from the 1960s through the early 2000s and was fully abandoned by 1975. Its remarkable restoration in 2005 - made possible through HGTV and multiple city-funded programs - stands as one of Brush Park’s true preservation miracles.
