Henry G. Stevens House

Early 20th-century in design, this two-and-one-half-story, multi-gabled stucco house blends Colonial Revival and English cottage influences. A symmetrical façade with a grand classical doorway faces Woodward Avenue, accented by wide overhanging eaves. A matching two-story garage stands at the rear. The house was built for Stevens, a real-estate speculator who also owned a silver mine.
