Located at 950 East Milwaukee stands the former Fisher Body Plant #37, a structure erected in 1920s in the Milwaukee Junction neighborhood.
Initially utilized as a stamping plant, it ceased operations in the mid 1980s. Presently, the facility is operated by New Center Stamping, and continues in its original function.
Notably, this plant served as a filming location for Eminem’s movie "Eight Mile" in 2002.
More on this building coming soon.
