Historic Detroit

Every building in Detroit has a story — we're here to share it

Edward F. Fisher Mansion

The 10,000-square-foot 11-bedroom mansion was designed by Richard H. Marr for Edward F. Fisher (1891–1972) and his wife Adeline.

According to the Detroit News, the family donated the home to the Archdiocese of Detroit in the 1950s and it became a home for Jesuit priests until the 1970s.
